Sea Games Briefs

NAYPYITAW, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- Briefs for the Myanmar SEA Games.

MOHINGA TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST

Mohinga, a popular breakfast dish for Myanmar people, is similar to the noodle soup in Malaysia.

There are various types of mohinga but the basic ingredients are catfish mixed with mohinga flour and banana stems.

The sweetness of the soup comes from the catfish mixed with herbs that generate freshness in the morning.

Tight security at the media centre entrance made it difficult for media people who arrived early to gather information for news coverage.

They are not allowed to get pass the entrance at Maniyadanar Jade Hall despite possessing accreditation cards.

BLESSED RAIN

Heavy rain in the morning brought a sigh of relief to the Myanmar people who suffered one month of hot weather.

A hotel employee known as Marry said the rain was a blessing and coincided with the arrival of pro democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi on a flight from Australia Monday.
