Harimau Muda received a heroes’ welcome at LCCT Sepang on Tuesday morning, following their huge success at the Sea Games Indonesia 2011.
Malaysia are champions of the Sea Games again! Baddrol Bakhtiar's winning penalty in a 4-3 shoot-out win ensured Malaysia retained the football gold medal following a tense final against Indonesia at Gelora Bung Karno yesterday.
NSI chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Dr Ramlan Aziz was among those who welcomed the team into the airport, and he paid tribute to the athletes and their families, coaches and supporters.
The athletes performed magnificently throughout the Games and not only did themselves, their family and friends proud but also their country.
The Malaysian team’s tigerish performance was indeed a true manisfestation of the Malaysia Boleh spirit.
