SINGAPORE, June 6 (Bernama) -- National women shooting trio missed the gold medal by 11 points in the 10m Air Rifle team event at the 28th SEA Games in Singapore at the Safra Yishun Saturday.
The team of Nur Suryani Mohammed Taibi, Nur Ayuni Farhana Abdul Halim and Muslifah Zulkifli collected 1222.9 points.
Singapore took the gold medal via Jasmine Ser, Tessa Neo, Martina Lindsay Veloso with 1233.9 points.
The bronze medal went to the Thai trio of Sunuta Majchacheep, Thanyalak Chotphibunsin and Supaluk Pimpan who amassed 1219.2 points.
The national men trio of Muhammad Zubair Mohamad, Mohd Ezuan Nasir Khan and Mohd Hadafi also collected a silver with 1826.9 points in the men's 10m Air Rifle team event.
Thailand's trio of Pongsaton Panyatong, Napis Tortungpanich and Apichakli took the gold with 1844.0 points while the bronze went to Nguyen Duy Hoang, Nguyen Van Quan and Dao Minh Ngoc of Vietnam with 1818.1 points.
