Sea Games: Five Terengganu Cyclists Selected For Centralised Training

KUALA TERENGGANU, July 3 (Bernama) -- Five Terengganu cyclists have been selected for centralised training for the SEA Games in Indonesia in November.

Terengganu cycling coach Syed Mohd Hussaini Syed Mazlan said the five were the top cyclists in the country at present.

"The Malaysian National Cycling Federation just notified us of their selection for the centralised training," he told Bernama here Sunday.

The cyclists selected are Mohd Shahrul Mat Amin, Mohd Saufi Mat Senan, Hariss Salleh, Adiq Husainie Othman and Amir Mustafa Rosli while woman cyclist Suriani Mohamad is also being considered for the stint.

Meanwhile, Terengganu soccer club T'Team's coach Yunus Alif said the club might not have the services of its two goalkeepers - Shamsuri Mustafa and Zairi Idris - for the Malaysia Cup competition and they would have to undergo surgery for injuries.

"We are now depending on a goalkeeper loaned to us for the rest of the Super League and it looks like the situation won't change for our Malaysia Cup campaign.
