Campaign to get one million signatures





PETALING JAYA: Nestle Malaysia launched a nationwide Malaysia Boleh signature campaign yesterday aimed at inspiring the Malaysian contingent to excel at the 25th SEA Games in Laos from Dec 9 -18.

Nestle Malaysia group brand manager Philo­mena Tan said they aimed to collect one million signatures during the one-month campaign throughout the nation, including from more than 600 schools.

“Milo is rallying all Malaysians, young and old, to stand together as 1Malaysia to support our SEA Games contingent in their quest to bring honour and glory to the country,” she said after officially launching the signature campaign at Menara Star yesterday.

The Malaysia Boleh signature campaign and battle-cry was first initiated by Milo for the 1993 Games in Singapore. It was then featured at the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games and the 2000 Thomas Cup Finals.

A total of 25 sports will be contested in the SEA Games in Vientiane but Malaysia will only compete in 21. THE STAR
