Sepak Takraw Squad Win Bronze In Chinlone Linking

SINGAPORE, June 6 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian men's sepak takraw squad won a bronze medal in chinlone linking in the SEA Games by beating host Singapore at the Singapore Expo complex, here, Saturday.

Mohammad Kamal Azmi, Mohamad Azlan Alias, Mohammad Arif, Mohd Nazuha Mohd Nadzi, Muhammad Zaim Razali, Amirul Zazwan Amir, Ab Muhaimi Che Bongsu and Mohamad Fazil Mohamad Asri won 2-0 (101-56, 107-56).

Cambodia won the gold medal after beating Laos 2-0 (152-145, 156-154) in the final.

Cambodia and Laos reached the final after collecting the most points (318 and 289 points) in the semi-finals.

Chinlone was introduced at the 2013 Myanmar SEA Games.
